Install

SQL Server installations are not the same as a windows installation and many issues I have troubleshooted have come from a non-SQL individuals installing SQL Server without taking the time to consider many critical areas such as SQL workload, tempdb, data types, database size, importing/exporting, IOPS, indexing, etc. SQL Data Cloud will help you with this.

Administer

Once you have it all running, whether On-premise or in MS Azure, SQL Server can run happily, however it does require administration; such as patching, troubleshooting user queries, performance issues, creating Power BI dashboards to name only a few. SQL Data Cloud can administer your systems via remote access, on-call or on a 24/7/365 basis.
